Justification
I ran across this video by Desiring God and really enjoyed it. John Piper speaks on justification by faith alone as the root that brings forth the fruit of justification. I am planning on looking at different aspects of justification in upcoming posts but I wanted to wet your appetite by showing you this brief discussion on the subject. Hope you enjoy it:

The horse and the cart. The horse alone cannot deliver the goods, it needs the cart to be attached. The cart filled with the goods cannot move unless it is attached to the horse. Faith without works becomes dead. Works should naturally follow faith as the cart behind the horse.

Not sure I fully agree with the horse and cart. But yes, works will naturally flow out of true saving faith.
