I ran across this video by Desiring God and really enjoyed it. John Piper speaks on justification by faith alone as the root that brings forth the fruit of justification. I am planning on looking at different aspects of justification in upcoming posts but I wanted to wet your appetite by showing you this brief discussion on the subject. Hope you enjoy it:

About Travis Berry

I am a blatantly honest person who loves to think, read, discuss, and write about God and theology. I work with people that have developmental disabilities and have learned as much from them as I did at Crown College were I earned a bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry. I have a love for God's Word and a ferver to live it out in the fullest. Thanks for checking out my stuff.

  1. The horse and the cart. The horse alone cannot deliver the goods, it needs the cart to be attached. The cart filled with the goods cannot move unless it is attached to the horse. Faith without works becomes dead. Works should naturally follow faith as the cart behind the horse.
